Hey hey, Chosen fam! We cannot believe it, but this is the second to last episode of SEASON 2 of the pod! Thank you SO MUCH for sticking with us and being a part of our Chosen family.
Today we are getting real with an inevitable part of life: grief. We are answering the important questions:
- What is grief?
- What does it look/feel like?
- What should I do?
- What should I do if a friend is grieving?
- What does the Bible say about grief?
- What are examples in the Bible of people grieving?
- What lies will the enemy throw at me about grief?
Grief is a very real thing and doesn't necessarily have to do with death alone. It can be loss of any kind, big or small, and, sister...God sees your heart no matter how big or small the loss is. There is no concern of your heart too insignificant for our loving and compassionate God.
So friends, if you have endured trauma and are experiencing grief from the terrors of losing a family member, child, or even something personal like a breakup, job-loss, or loss of a friendship...God sees you and is HERE FOR YOU! He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and wants to help you with your burdens and cares (Psalm 55:22). You are not alone. You are not bothering God. Your cares mean something to God...and He is coming to help you!
